Julissa Lirio

Paralegal

Biography

A native of Miami, Julissa began her legal career in 2001 at 19, when she joined what she fondly remembers as her first “law family.” She joined the firm as a file clerk while she attended college, but having seen her potential (and realizing that she was a quick study), she was recruited to assist one of the firm’s partners in the areas of probate, real estate and corporate law. It was a “sink or swim” opportunity for her, and she thrived – soon thereafter assisting the firm with business formation, stock transfers, 1031 exchanges, the preparation and review of commercial real estate documents, and guardianship and probate administration (domiciliary and ancillary). Having a penchant for learning and a strong desire for continual growth, she continued to expand her skills over the years and evolve into a very experienced paralegal.

Julissa joined the CCHS team in early 2018 and is proud to say that she has found her “forever law family.” Julissa is well-versed in the areas of probate and trust administration and specializes in the preparation of federal estate and gift tax returns. She also handles real property sales for the firm’s probate, trust and corporate clients.

Julissa’s core belief is that honesty and tenacity are a person’s greatest strengths. She has a passion for kindness, is deeply empathic and enjoys taking the time to know the firm’s clients and to learn to anticipate their needs. She prides herself on having a keen eye for detail and on being expeditious and thorough – making things happen for clients and getting things right the first time. She is always committed to maintaining a high level of professionalism and is deeply appreciative of the opportunity to satisfy client needs (and of every heartfelt “thank you” she receives in return).

When she’s not in the office, Julissa enjoys spending time with her husband and their kids (both the human and furry ones) – whether it be watching movies or football, or traveling and rock climbing (indoor of course!). She is also an ardent supporter of numerous animal organizations across the US and abroad, and children’s and medical charities.
