Larry was born and raised in Miami and has deep roots in the community and extensive connections
with other professionals.
In 1976, he obtained his certified public accounting (CPA) license and worked as a full-time CPA at Peat Marwick (KPMG), one the “Big 4” accounting firms. At the same time, he attended law school at night. He graduated from the University of Miami law school in 1981.
He continued his advanced legal studies and earned his master’s degree in tax law (LL.M. -Taxation) from the University of Miami in 1982, while also working as a CPA during the day. In 1976, he obtained his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Florida. In addition, he is a Board certified tax attorney.
